Dear QISS Families and Friends,
Last week, students in the upper school spent time away from QISS called the “Week Without Walls”. The goal of Week without Walls is to provide students with opportunities to deepen their understanding of the world and broaden their perspective, by extending learning beyond the confines of our campus, to locations throughout China. We hope that by exposing them to new people and to new ways of life they will ultimately become the sort of global citizens and lifelong learners QISS strives to produce.
上个周，QISS高中生参加的“旅行社会实践周”完满结束，本次活动的目的是给学生更多的机会加深他们对世界的理解，拓宽他们的视野，把学习扩展到校园以外的地方，延伸到全国各地。我们希望，通过让他们接触到新的人和新的生活方式，来最终达到成为全球公民和终生学习者的奋斗目标。
지난주 중고등부 학생들은 “Week Without Walls-수학여행”을 다녀왔습니다. 수학여행의 목적은 학생들이 배움의 장소를 캠퍼스를 벗어나 다양한 중국지역을 좀더 깊게 이해할수 있는 기회를 제공함에 있습니다. 저희는 학생들이 이 기회를 통해 QISS에서 추구하려는 평생배움과 진정한 글로벌 시민이 되기위하여 새로운 사람을 만나고 다양한 삶의 방식을 경험하는 좋은 기회가 되었길 바랍니다.
