QISS 2018-2019 Day 1

Dear QISS Families and Friends,

What a first day for QISS 2018-2019! We are excited to have so many returning smiling faces to our hallways and classrooms. Students hopped off the bus eager to go meet their teachers and reacquaint with their friends.

QISS 2018-2019新学年今天开始啦！走廊里、教室里又看到了这些熟悉的面孔，看到孩子们早上从校车上下来，一副很想要见到自己的老师和朋友们的样子，真让人兴奋。

QISS 2018-19 새학년이 시작 되었습니다. 저희는 다시 교실과 복도에서 학생들의 미소띈 얼굴을 볼수있음을 반갑고 기쁘게 생각합니다. 학생들은 등교버스에서 내리자 마자 선생님과 친구들을 만나 인사를 나누며 기쁨을 감추지 못했습니다.

Classrooms were prepared for the arrival. Teachers welcomed their students to begin a great year of learning and success for all. First day activities were fun and filled with information on the expectations for our students.

教室已早为孩子们准备好了，老师对同学们的到来表示欢迎，他们将开始新一年的学习生活，预祝他们成功。第一天的活动充满了乐趣和孩子们想要的信息。

학급은 학생들을 맞이할 준비가 되었으며 교사들은 성공적인 한해를 만들기 위해 첫걸음을 내딛는 학생들을 맞이 하였습니다. 개학첫날 학교에서는 학생들의 기대에 차 있는 많은 정보와 즐거운 활동으로 시작하였습니다.

New students to QISS were greeted with Sensitivity and Compassion from our returning students to help them feel very welcome to our community. The new students showed great Courage as they entered a new school for the first time. Our teachers model good human characteristics while being mindful to teach those core character traits of Sensitivity, Courage, Compassion, Vitality, and Intelligence within their daily lessons and activities.

今年继续就读的同学以他们的敏思与热情帮助了新同学，使他们感受到大家庭的温暖。新同学也表现出第一次来到新学校的勇气。我们的老师以身作则，在日常教学和活动中适时机地教授给同学们什么是敏思、勇气、热情、活力与智慧。

QISS에 새로 입학한 신입생들은 재학생들로 부터 따뜻한 환영과 도움으로 첫날을 즐겁게 보낼수 있었습니다. 신입생들은 새로운 학교에서의 첫날 커다란 용기를 보여줬습니다. 저희 교사들은 앞으로 모든 교과 지도 과정과 다양한 학교 행사 및 활동 과정을 통하여 인성교육의 핵심인 감성,용기,연민,활력,그리고 지성의 본보기가 되고자 노력할 것입니다.

The QISS community is filled with anticipation for this year and all it has to offer our kids. The high quality, holistic education offered at QISS provides students many opportunities to be successful. Whether it be in music, dance, arts, athletics or leadership, our students will be given the chance to shine.
