Dear QISS Families and Friends,
This is the final week of the 2017-2018 school year at QISS. We believe the year was an absolute success. As a reminder, the last day of school has been changed to Wednesday, June 6th. It will be a regular scheduled day with buses departing at 3:30pm. A letter has been distributed electronically, but a hard copy will be coming home this afternoon for those students still in attendance this week.
这是2017-2018学年的最后一个周了。本学年即将圆满落幕。温馨提示，学校的最后一天上学日改为6月6号星期三，当日学校正常上课，校车跟往常一样下午3点30发车。电子版的通知已经发送。纸质版的通知将会在今天下午发给在校学生。
이번주는 2017-18학년도의 마지막 한주 입니다. 저희는 올해도 성공적인 한해를 보냈다고 생각합니다. 지난번에 말씀 드린바와 같이 이번수 수요일인 6월6일은 마지막 수업일 입니다. 이날 정상수업이 진행되며 스쿨버스는 3시30분에 출발합니다. 이미 메신저를 통하여 전자서신이 발송되었으며 오늘 오후 학사일정 변경에 관한 레터가 학생들 편으로 각 가정에 전달됩니다.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Report cards, awards, and certificates will be coming home on Wednesday with your children. If your child is not at school on Wednesday, you may pick up the report card envelope in the main office anytime this summer.
成绩单、奖状和证书将会在这周三由孩子带回家。如果您孩子周三不在学校，那您可以在假期到学校的办公室领取。
성적표, 상장, 증명서 등은 학생들편으로 수요일에 각 가정으로 발송될 예정입니다. 수요일에 결석할 경우, 위의 서류등은 여름방학동안 메인오피스 근무시간에 받아가실 수 있습니다.
First day of school for 2018-2019 is August 13th. We will have a new student orientation on August 9th. More information will come during the summer.
2018-2019学年开学日为8月13号，新生见面会定在8月9号。更多信息将在暑假时候公布。
2018-19년도 개학일은 8월13일 입니다. 8월9일에 신입생 오리엔테이션이 있을 예정입니다. 방학기간중 자세한 사항을 전달해 드리도록 하겠습니다.
SCHOOL LIFE
Last Wednesday was QISS Sports Day. The staff and students celebrated sports and fitness by playing various games throughout the day. It was a beautiful day at QISS. Thank you to the PTA and parents that continue to support our school’s events. The snacks, drinks and BBQ hotdogs were awesome!
上周三是QISS运动会。老师和学生玩了各种各样的游戏来庆祝运动。这是美好的一天。感谢PTA继续支持我们学校的活动。零食、饮料和烧烤热狗都很棒！
지난주 수요일에 QISS스포츠 데이가 있었습니다. 교사와 학생들은 이날 하루 동안 다양한 게임과 스포츠를 즐기기 좋은 하루 였습니다. 학교행사에 늘 도움을 주시는 PTA학부모님들께 감사의 말씀 드립니다. 제공해 주신 간식, 음료 그리고 핫도그도 감사드립니다.
Saturday was a busy day at QISS. Key Assignment Day, Kindergarten, Grade 5 and Grade 8 Promotional Ceremonies, and the Spring Concert were successful and entertaining. Once again, thank you to the QISS families for supporting your child’s learning and activities.
周六也是繁忙的一天，课业汇报展，幼儿园，5年级和8年级毕业典礼以及春季音乐会成功的举办。再一次感谢QISS家长对我们学校活动的支持。
지난 토요일은 많은 행사가 진행되었습니다. 키어사인먼트와 유치원, 5학년 그리고 8학년의 졸업식과 정기 봄연주회가 성공적으로 진행되었습니다. 다시한번 학생들의 학업과 다양한 활동을 격려해 주시는 학부모님들께 감사의 말씀 드립니다.

The spring concert was a fantastic finale to the day. The concert incorporated song, dance and movement. One of the highlights of the show was the musical performance “The Bear went over the Mountain” by grades 2, 3 & 4. After intermission, we were entertained by the QISS Jazz Band directed by Mr. Taira, Middle School Choir and QISS Advanced Band. Thank you to Mr. Solomon for continuing to put on great shows for our community.
春季音乐会是当然的压轴节目。本次音乐会涵盖歌曲、舞蹈等演出。最亮眼的节目是2&3和4年级表演的“熊越过了山”。下半场，我们欣赏到了Mr. Taira和QISS爵士乐队还有QISS合唱团的精彩演出。感谢Mr. Solomon为本次演出所作的努力
봄연주회는 이날의 멋진 마무리였습니다. 이날 공연에서는 다양한 노래, 춤등이 선보였습니다. 이번 공연의 하이라이트는 2,3,4학년의 합동 뮤지컬공연인 “The Bear went over the Mountain” 였습니다. 중간휴식 이후 Mr. Taira가 이끄는 QISS재즈밴드의 공연이 선보였고 중학생 합창단과 QISS 밴드의 공연도 진행되었습니다. 저희에게 늘 멋진 공연을 선보여주는 Mr. Solomon선생님께 깊은 감사의 말씀 드립니다.
Special thanks to the QISS student council, student ambassadors and the QISS student Red Cross volunteers for selling snacks and drinks during intermission. We know the funds earned will go to a worthy cause.
特别感谢QISS学生会、学生大使和QISS学生红十字会志愿者在间歇期间出售零食和饮料。我们知道，获得的资金将用于一个有价值的事业。
