QISS Weekly Update: 2018-2019 Week 24

Dear QISS Families and Friends,

The upper school week without walls class trips are coming. Next week, grade 9 to grade 12 students will be traveling to different regions of China to learn more about culture and history. The following week, grade 6 to 8 will do the same. The opportunity to step outside of the classroom and learn more about our host country is a special experience.

高中部游学周就要开始了。下周，九年级到十二年级的学生将去中国不同的地区学习更多的文化和历史知识。再接下来的一周，是六年级到八年级的学生出去游学。有机会走出教室，更多地了解我们的东道国将是一种很特别的经历

중고등부 Week Without Walls(WWW 수학여행)이 다가오고 있습니다. 다음주에는 9-12학년 고등부 학생들이 중국의 다양한 역사와 문화를 배우는 여행을 떠나게 됩니다. 그 다음주6-8학년 학생들 역시 같은 목적으로 여행을 떠나게 됩니다. 학교 밖에서의 색다른 경험의 기회를 통하여 현재 우리가 살고 있는 중국에 관하여 더 많은것을 배우는 기회가 될 것입니다.

高中部的学生和家长们,我校将在体育馆举办国际大学展。请查看下面的传单并与他人分享。活动时间为3月18日和20日。

고등학교 학생들과 학부모님께 알려드립니다. QISS에서 본교 체육관에서 대학전람회를 개최합니다. 아래의 안내문을 참고하시고 관심있는 주변분들에게도 전달해 주시기 바랍니다. 대학 전람회는 3월 18일과 20일에 있습니다.

QISS admissions will begin the re-enrollment procedures soon. A letter will be coming home today with more information on dates and times for the class meetings.

QISS 입학부에서 곧 재학생들의 재등록과정을 시작합니다. 안내 서신이 오늘 각 가정으로 전달되며 서신에는 학년별 미팅에관한 정보와 시간이 명시되어 있습니다.

QISS MUN students participated this past week in the MUNISC 2019. Our students represented QISS with five presidents and deputy presidents serving in 4 out of 7 committees. QISS students continue to show strong leadership and experience in the committees.

我校MUN的学生上周参加了2019年MUNISC活动。我们的学生代表QISS在7个委员会中的4个委员会中共担任5个主席及副主席职位。QISS的学生继续在MUN活动中表现出强大的领导能力和经验。

Mr. Weaver’s sculpture class using Center of Mass equations to solve how to make mobiles for their project. Guest student teacher, Jennifer, wows the students with her Physics knowledge.

Mr. Weaver老师的雕塑课上，学生们使用质心方程来为他们的项目制作动态雕塑。学生们对客座教师Jennifer分享的物理学知识惊叹不已。

Mr. Weaver의 조형시간에 모빌 프로젝트를 제작하는데 있어 무게중심의 등식을 사용하고 있습니다. 초대 학생교사인 제니퍼의 물리학 지식은 학생들에게 큰 인상을 남겼습니다.

Each Friday, the lower school Student Council members open a healthy snack bar for lower school students to purchase something. Here they are prepping some of the homemade snacks.

每周五，小学部学生会成员会为小学生提供一个健康零食铺，让大家购买一些东西。他们正在自制一些小吃。

매주 금요일 초등학교 학생회에서는 학생들에게 건강간식을 판매하는 건강스낵바를 운영하고 있습니다. 학생들이 직접 간식을 만드는 모습입니다.

Grade 2 students continuing to develop their Innovation Fair projects. They are working in collaborative groups on the engineering design process.

二年级的学生们正继续研究他们的创新展项目。他们在设计过程中以协作小组的形式工作。
