ANNOUNCEMENTS

The QISS staff wishes all our families a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival. As a reminder there will be no classes on Monday, September 24^th.

The first PEP (Parent Education Program) Talk is scheduled for next Wednesday morning in the QISS parent’s lounge located in the lower school building. See the flyer below for more details.

In Mr. Quan’s grade 7 science class during an Osmosis and Diffusion Lab, students were examining how different concentrations in a solution can change a cell.

Mr. Quan老师的七年级班在进行渗透与扩散实验，同学们正在认真观察溶液不同的浓度是如何改变细胞的。

7학년 과학수업에서 삼투압과 확산작용 실험시간을 통하여 학생들이 용액의 농도의 차이가 세포 변화에 영향을 주는 과정을 실험하고 있습니다.

In Kindergarten, Ms. Paula had her children learning about sequencing, retelling a story in detail and the importance of ordering.

幼儿园班Ms. Paula教给孩子们故事的顺序与重述，以及排序的重要性。

유치부에서 Ms. Paula 의 학생들이 이야기 전달과정에 있어 자세한 내용 전달과 이야기 순서의 중요성에 관하여 배우고 있습니다.

Grade 2 students working on some science by getting to taste and touch different parts of an avocado and hear the story of why they aren’t extinct.

二年级的科学课中，同学们通过品尝和触摸牛油果来了解为什么这个物种没有灭绝。

In Ms. Carrie’s Chinese class, students were getting ready for the Mid-Autumn festival by creating their own lanterns.

Ms. Carrie的中文课上，孩子们在动手制作自己的灯笼，为中秋节做准备。

Ms. Carrie 중국어 시간에 학생들이 중추절을 맞아 자기만의 랜턴을 만들고 있습니다.

Grade 4 students pairing up with our Kindergarten students for some reading with a buddy time.

In Mrs. Ymas grade 6 math class, she has the students up and around using an “Around the World” activity to practice math questions of different levels of difficulty.

6학년 수학시간에 교사와 학생들이 “Around the World”라는 주제로 다양한 레벨의 문제를 풀어보는 시간을 기자고 있습니다.

In World History, Mr. Lenhart challenged the grade 8 students to build their own Grecian columns to support their textbook. Girls win the Ancient Greek architecture challenge!

Mr. Lenhart老师的世界历史课上，八年级的同学们在挑战希腊柱顶书。古希腊建筑学挑战赛最终结果–女生获胜！

세계사시간에 Mr. Lenhart와 8학년 학생들은 교과서에 나온 그리스기둥을 만들어 보고 있습니다. 여학생들은 고대그리스의 건축챌린지에서 승리를 거두었습니다!
