Dear QISS Families and Friends,

As Qingdao weather changes, let us all be mindful of our students’ health conditions. Particularly our littlest ones, please keep your child at home if sick or is showing any signs of sickness. As we transition to the colder weather, please make sure to send appropriate clothing. Make sure your child leaves home appropriately dressed for school and the weather conditions.

近期青岛正处换季时节，让我们多留意孩子们的健康状况。特别是年龄小的孩子，如果孩子生病或有生病的迹象，请让孩子留在家里。天气转凉，孩子离家时，请您务必让孩子穿着适合学校出勤和天气条件的衣物。

칭다오 날씨에 변화가 시작되었습니다. 학생들이 더욱더 건강관리를 해야할 시기가 되었습니다. 특히 어린 학생들의 경우 몸이 아프거나 건강에 이상증상이 보일시 등교를 중단하고 가정에서 돌봐주시기 바랍니다. 날씨가 곧 시원해지기에 학생들이 계절에 맞는 옷을 입을수 있도록 부탁드립니다. 등교시 학생들이 학교와 날씨에 적절한 복장을 착용할수 있도록 각 가정에서 지도해 주시기 바랍니다.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Open House night begins at 6pm on Thursday, September 5^th in the theater. After consideration, we have decided to move both the lower school and upper school open house nights to the same evening. It is advised to leave your children at home for open house because this is a night for our parents to meet their children’s teachers. Also, our teachers will be sharing information about their classes. On the calendar, individual parent conferences will be October 28 & 29.

我校开放日定于9月5日（周四）晚6点在学校礼堂举行。经考虑，我们决定将小学部和中学部的开放日移至同一天晚上进行。开放日目的在于让家长与老师见面，因此不建议孩子一同参加。同时，学校老师们也会与家长分享课程相关信息。根据校历，家长与老师的个人会议将在10月28日、29日进行。

오픈하우스 나이트가 다음주인 9월 5일 저녁 6시에 대강당에서 시작합니다. 여러 상황을 고려하여 저희는 유초등부와 중고등부의 오픈하우스를 5일에 함께 하기로 결정 하였습니다. 이날은 학부모님들께서 자녀의 담당 교사를 만나는 자리로 자녀들은 함께 할수 없는 자리 입니다. 이날 담임 및 담당 교사들이 학급에 관한 다양한 정보를 제공합니다. 개인 상담은 10월28/29일 양일간 학부모 교사 상담시간 안내에 관한 통지가 추후있을 예정이며 교내 학사일정표를 확인해 주시기 바랍니다.

Director’s Swimming begins this Saturday, August 31^st from 9am to noon. Bring your parent ID card for entry into the school.

校长家庭游泳活动将于本周六8月31日早9点至12点举行，请参加的家长携带通行证前来学校。

디렉터 가족 수영 프로그램이 8월31일부터 매주 토요일 오전 9시부터 12시까지 교내 수영장에서 진행됩니다. 교내 출입시 학부모님께서는 학부모 통행증을 꼭 지참해 주시기 바랍니다.
