Dear QISS Families and Friends,

Week 12 flew past quickly, with everyone still buzzing from the amazing success of the 1st Annual QISS Halloween 5K Fun-Run. We are sure that this event will become a permanent fixture in the QISS calendar. Scroll down to see an image gallery with photos from this event.

Now for the biggest event in the QISS calendar, International Day!

That’s right, International Day is just one week away. This year’s International Day celebrations will be bigger and better than ever. We have over 40 booths in attendance, with roughly 25 food and drink booths. There will be games, activities, workshops, dance lessons, performances and more. This is a public event, so all members of the Qingdao community are welcome. We encourage you to bring your friends, family and guests. Come along and share in the fun!

2016 QISS Talent Show

Calling all talent! Our QISS talent show, ­­­­­­­­­­­­­all of the Lights, is quickly approaching!

If you have an act, a song, a skit or another talent that you would like to display during our yearly variety show, please begin to plan and practice. Students may perform solo acts or do something with a group. If your child is interested in performing, please make sure it is 3 minutes or less of performance. Please fill out the form below and return it to your homeroom teacher by Wednesday, November 2.

才艺展示的时间到了！2016QISS才艺秀即将闪亮登场。如果你想唱歌，跳舞，表演小品，戏剧以及有任何可以展示给观众的才艺，欢迎参与！请开始策划和练习你的表演。可以单独或者组队演出，表演时间在3分钟以内。请填写以下表格并在11月2日星期三之前将表格交还给班主任老师。

미래의 스타들 모이세요! QISS 스타들은 주목해주세요QISS 탤런트쇼가 곧 시작됩니다! 학생들중 연기, 노래, 개그나 여러 재능을 연중행사인 탈렌트쇼의 무대에서 보여주고 싶으면 지금부터 계획을 세우시고 연습해주시기 바랍니다.학생들은 솔로나 팀으로 참가할 수 있습니다. 자녀분중 탤런트쇼를 참가를 원하는 학생은 3분이내의 공연을 준비해주시기 바랍니다. 아래 표를 작성하신후 11월2일 수요일까지 담임선생님께 제출하여 주시기 바랍니다..

Tryouts will be held Wednesday, November 8 and 9th DURING school. Students will be notified by November 10^th about their approval for the talent show. This year’s talent show will be held during the afternoon of Wednesday, November 23, so save the date and prepare to be impressed by the amazing talents at QISS!

选拔赛将在11月8日和9日校内时间进行。11月10日之前，入选才艺秀表演的学生将获得最后的通知。本年的才艺秀将在11月23日星期三下午进行，请您提前预留时间以便在当日前来QISS观看学生的精彩表演！

탤런트쇼 예선은 11월 8일9일 에 있습니다. 11월 10일 본선에 참가하는 학생들이 명단이 발표됩니다.  올해 탤런트쇼(본선)는 11월23일 수요일 오후에 진행될 예정이오니 멋진 탤런트쇼 공연을 꼭 보러 오시기 바랍니다!

International Day: More Details

Our annual QISS International Day celebrations are coming very soon. International Day is a special event, where the QISS community comes together to celebrate our diversity, multiculturalism and internationalism.

我们每年一度的国际日又即将到来了。国际日是我校学年主要活动，充分展示了我们作为一个多国际社区的融合性，多文化性以及国际化的特色。

정기 QISS 인터네셔널 데이 행사가 곧 열리게 됩니다. 인터네셔널데이 행사는 본교에서 주관하는 다양한 문화를 체험할수 있는 특별한 행사입니다.

We know that International Day is one of the most loved events on our calendar, and this year should be no exception. Get ready to experience delicious foods from around the world, music, cultural performances, and fun activities for the whole family. This year, the International Bazaar is sure to be the biggest so far: an abundance of market stalls and performers are waiting to give you a day to remember!

国际日是大家都非常喜欢的盛会，今年也不例外。大家请准备好与家庭成员一起尽享我们的特色多国籍美食，音乐，精彩演出和趣味游戏。今年，我们的国际市场将会成为有史以来最大规模的一次，丰富的各国售卖展台和表演者们将带给您难忘的体验。

인터네셔널데이는 학교행사중 가장 사랑받는 행사중 하나입니다. 맛있는 각나라의 음식과 음악 그리고 문화공연을 통해 가족분들과 즐거운시간을 마련해보시기 바랍니다. 올해 저희는 이 행사가 본교 역사상 가장 규모가 클것으로 예상되며 다양한 판매점과 공연이 여러분의 기억속에 잊혀지지 않을 추억으로 남게 될것으로 생각됩니다.

International Day is one of the most exciting events in the QISS calendar, and it is also a significant fundraiser for the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), who work tirelessly to make the QISS community strong and enjoyable. Please join help us to make this event a huge success, as the proceeds directly benefit the PTA, who in turn use their resources to boost the QISS community.

国际日是我们学校最娱乐性的大型活动之一，同时也将作为一次义卖活动，为我们的家校委员会（PTA）筹款。我们的家校委员会一直不辞辛苦的服务和贡献全QISS社区。这次也请加入我们，为国际日的成功共同努力，同时为家校委员会筹款；作为回报，家校委员将用筹得的款项继续支持帮助QISS社区，为学校的发展添砖加瓦。

인터네셔널데이는 본교행사중 가장 즐거운 행사중 하나이며 늘 학교 발전과 좋은 환경을 만들어 나가기 위해 노력하는 PTA의 기금마련에 중요한 역할을 하는 행사입니다. 성공적인 행사진행을 위해 여러분의 많은 참여바라며 이로 인하여 PTA에게 많은 기금이 마련되고 학교커뮤니티 발전에 밑거름이 될수 있도록 지원 부탁드리겠습니다.

International Day is a unique QISS event, because it is completely open to the public. It is a rare opportunity to show off our school campus and facilities to the broader QISS community. So, please invite your friends and family to join us at the 2016 International Bazaar!

Entrance: RMB 10 for adults / RMB 5 for children (free entry for babies and toddlers). Free entry for QISS students and QISS Parents with Parent-Passes (parents without parent-passes and other relatives need to pay entry fee)

票价： 成人10元，儿童5元（婴幼儿免费），QISS学生和持有QISS家长通行卡的家长（每家庭最多两位家长）免费，没有通行卡的家长和家长的亲友需要付费入场。

입장료: 성인 10위안 ,어린이 5위안( 영아무료). QISS학생과 학부모 무료(학부모출입증지참 필수 – 행사당일 출입증이 없는 학부모님과 외부인(친척포함)은 입장료를 지불하셔야 합니다.)

Buses: International Day 2016 is an official school day in the academic calendar. Students and teachers must all attend as a regular school day, meaning school buses will also be running.

The bus schedule for International Day is;

校车：2016年国际日是我们正式的学校日。学生和教师都必须按时到校，校车将照常接送学生

버스이용: 인터네셔널데이는 학교 출석일에 행당되는 날입니다. 학생들과 교사들은 평소와 다름없이 모두 출석해야합니다. 또한 학교 스쿨버스가 운행됩니다. 아래의 스케쥴을 참고하시기 바랍니다.

• Morning: Buses are running 1 hour behind regular schedule, with students aiming to arrive at school at 9am.

早校车：校车将顺延一小时，学生在9点左右到校

오전: 평소보다 1시간 늦은 시간에 승차(9시정도 학교 도착예정)

• Afternoon: Buses leave school at 1:30pm.

午间校车：校车将在1点半发车离开学校

오후: 1시30분에 학교에서 출발

Parking: Due to the popularity of this event there is always a lot of car traffic around the school. We would like to encourage you use taxis, car-pool with friends, and use the parking space at the North Entrance of the QISS campus.

停车：届时将会有大量家长和学生参与活动，因此学校附近交通将会相当拥挤。我们友情提示，为了避免拥堵浪费您的时间，请考虑乘坐出租车或与其他家长拼车。届时请使用我们校园远端北门停车场。

주차: 행사당일 교통이 혼잡할것으로 예상됩니다. 가능한한 택시나 카풀을 이용해주시고 학교 뒤쪽 북문게이트에 있는 큰 주차장을 이용해주시기 바랍니다.
